THE MANAWATU SEAT.
THREE CANDIDATES SO FAR
The Mayor, Mr W. Murdoch, informed a News representative oh Tuesday that he would be a candidate for the Manawatu seat at the general election in the Liberal interest. Two candidates have been nominated for selection as the Labour representative in the Manawatu electorate. These are Messrs. Moses Ayrton, general secretary of the N.Z. ! Labour Part>* and Mr F. D. Whibriy, of Foxton, Senior Borough Councilor, and a member of the Horowlienua Electric Power Board. Mr E. Newman will again be the Government candidate for Manawatu.
