The campaign against rats has produced very unfortunate results lor one New Plymouth lady. On Wednesday she was opening a tin of a certain rat poison and something in the nature of an explosion occurred, throwing the contents of the tin into her face. Fears are entertained that the eyes may suffer permanent injury.
