Don't think that you are the only skip on earth—there are others. Don't say “That's 110 good—l wanted you up!” The player knows it without your saying it, and it only irritates him. Remember you play yourself. Don’t “flap your wings and turn your back” when an erring bowl does not go where you want it. You are apt to get another bad one. Don’t say “1 thought you would do that” when your third taps one and gives them the shot. You'll do the same yourself and call it had luck. Don’t lose your temper and sit down and nurse your head. It you are a few down, fight it out—someone has to lose. Don’t ask for a “runner” when there is a chance !o draw the shot or trail the kitty for two or three. Don’t drive unless there is absolutely nothing else on; it is the last resource of an incompetent player. Don’t look glum when your opponent plays a good one and you are four down. Applaud it and go down and draw the shot. Don’t say “what a fluke” when a player gets a wick atid lays a shot. You do the same at times and say you played for it. TVs all in the game. Don’t blame the green and say it is too keen or 100 slow, the grass is too long or it does not draw as it should. Remember it is us fair for one as the other. Don’t play to the gallery or try to be funny at the expense of your op' ponent.- You only get laughed at and yourself unpopular. , ■ DoxEL be afraid to give a coll a chance and help him all you can. Don’t refuse to play in any position t<> strengthen your learn—unity is strength. - Don't be a perpetual ship. Change 1 your position occasionally, it will benefit your play. Finally—don’t take credit for winning entirely to yourself, as you could not win on your owiiT Give your team credit and bo a sport.
