THE NOMINATIONS. The nomination of candidates of the various constituent districts who are to form the first power board for tlie Horowhenua district closed at noon to--day, and are as follows: — Horowhenua County.—C. 1.. Harkness and W. G. Adkin (Levin), A. A, Brown and G. A. Monk (Waikanae). and A. Seifert (Palmerston North). Levin Borough.—D. W. Matheson. Otaki Borough.—C. Kilsby. ■ Foxton Borough.—John Chrystall, F. D. Whibley. Shannon Borough Council. —\Y. H. Gunning (elected unopposed). Riding' of the Manawatu County Council. —W. E. R[ai-or (elected unopposed). I Riding of I-lult County Council.— A. 1. Mackay.
