MAORILAND THEATRE.
MABEL NORM AND IN “PINTO” , A big star picture has been secured for Wednesday night at the Maoriland Theatre. It stars Mabel Normand in “Pinto,” a film that has done record business in the cities. The following paragraph from an American paper gives ah idea of wliat, can be expected at the Maoriland to-mor-row night: “Talk about fun! Why, there’s tons of joy in every foot of ‘Pinto ’ -Mabel Normand’s latest Goldwyn picture, you’ll laugh yourself into hysterics when you see irresistible Mabel Normand as the wild and woolly Western whirlwind stampede a crowd of monacled Montys and lorgnetted Lizzies; stage a real Wild West show that winds up in a carnival of gun-play, and puts the finishing touches to her social meanderings by roping a social Romeo and making a ilannel-shirted cave man out of him.” “PIONEERS” ON FRIDAY. The theatre will be occupied on Friday night by a clever team of musical and vaudeville entertainers known hs “The Pioneers.” As will be seen from the advertisement in this issue, they are a versatile company who should provide an acceptable evening’s entertainment.
