OBITUARY.

MRS TAYLOR, OF TAW A FLAT. The death occurred at Taw a Flat on Saturday oi Mrs Taylor, widow of the late Captain James Taylor, aged 95 years. The late Mrs Taylor arrived with her parents by the ship Coroman-* del in iStO. She was married in 1844 to Mr Janies Taylor, the Rev. Watkins, oi Wesley Church, Wellington, olti- < elating. The first, few years were spent at Taita, Johnsonville and Pahautanui and in 1851 they, with the young family, started the farm that has lor 70 years been a home of hospital iiy. Iforo; Mr A. J. Taylor, Palmerston ‘ North; Mr Jas. Taylor, Feilding; Mrs ’ Masters (Hastings), and Mrs James J Jones (Waikato), Messrs. .T. J. and John R. Whyte (To-

komaru) are grandsons oi the late Mrs Taylor, and Mrs W. E. Barber (Foxton), and Mrs A. H. ITU (of Ihaltara) are granddaughters.
