TRIANGULAR SHIELD CONTEST. The second round in the Triangular Shield contest was played on the Foxton green on Wednesday afternoon, .in good weather ootiditions. The recoin heavy rains : • jHade the green somewhat “dead,” but neverthelessthe ample preparation given it during the morning made it very playable. • The visitors were treated to ample .refreshments, and altogether a very Enjoyable time was. spent.
