RIFLE SHOOTING.
LEVIN DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB. On Saturday afternoon Uhe Levin Defence Rifle Club continued its shooting by firing the fourth competition of the first series of trophies kindly donated by Messrs. W. H. Field, M.P., and Messrs. M. Field and J. Ragrie.. The afternoon was fine, but there was a choppy wind blowings and the bright sun shining made* it hard shooting; all the same some creditable score's were put up. Rifleman L. Ingram was top for the day with 67 points, which was a gotfd performance considering the day. Conditions were seven shots‘ and sighter at 300 and 500 yards. Following are the scores:Rflm. L. R- Ingram, 23, 6, 10 Next Saturday the club will continue its shooting by firing the final shoot of the first series of trophies. Conditions, seven shots and sighter a 200 and 600 yards.
