ARBUCKLE AT HOME.

KISSES AND HISSES

A • message from San Francisco states that Roscoe Arbuckle has departed for his Los Angeles home with his wife, from whom he has long been separated, his mother-in-law, and his attorneys.

Though Arbuckle has been released, feeling still runs high regarding his case in San Francisco. Judge Lazarus handed to the police a dozen letters in which the life of the judge was threatened as a insult of his decision to dismiss the murder charge. The police authorities are furnishing a bodyguard for the judge until the resentment subsides.

Arbuckle on' his return to Los Angeles was greeted by great crowds. Several show-girls, showered him with kisses, while others hissed and hooted. A woman created a diversion by mounting on a stand and denounbing Arbuckle and' the crowd for cheering him. Several fist fights' followed.
