BIG DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAM
A double star feature program will be screened at the Maoriland Theatre on Saturday night, headed by Wiliam Russell, in “The Cheater Reformed.” It Is a powerful drama, and includes some very gripping moments. She, believes the man to be her husband; then she discovered that her husband had been killed months before. What would you do? The second feature is “While the Devil Laughs,” and stars Louise Lovely. Strong supports made up an interesting program. Those missing this are depriving themselves of a rare picture treat. On Monday "She Loves and Lies” will be screened. Norma Tahnadge is known’to be one of the most versatile of feminine screen stars, but her remarkable talents in this direction have never been shown to such good advantage as in her latest Select production, “She Loves and Lies.” In this adaptation of Wilkie Collins’ story of the same name, Miss Talmadge portrays three separate and distinct characters, each being of a different social caste, age and physical appearance. Not only does the star make her portrayals realistic, but she makes them convincing.
