SCORCHING MOTORISTS.

. (To the Editor.) Sir, —The time seems to have arriv ed wnen something siiouid he done to pm a, stop to scorching motorists in and adjacent to the town. Some motor cyclists appear to he as great a nuisance, if not greater, than the other varieties of motor hog, tearing through the streets with exhausts open and at a pace that is decidedly beyond the regulation speed allowed in larger places, and with ' scant consideration to pedestrians and otherusers of the roads. That more accidents have not happened is due more to good luck than good management, and it seems high time that there should be some form of control or limit to the pace at which these people travel, especially in and about the town.—l am, etc., PEDESTRIAN.
