"THE EASTERN CHARM.”

The preparation of “The Eastern Charm,” to be produced, in Shannon shortly to raise funds to beautify the town, is making very good progress. So far, about seven dances are under way, and the individual performers are entering into their work and picking up their steps in very encouraging style. The King's Pages, consisting of eight- young ladies, will have their first rehearsal next Wednesday. Every attention will be given to lighting effects, especially the Eastern Palace, which Is expected to surpass anything ever seen in Shannon. Tickets will he out in about three weeks' time, and patrons are advised, when they have procured same, to hook their seats. The box office will be open at one of'the local shops.
