MAORILAND THEATRE.
A fine program has been chosen for Wednesday night. It is headed by “Fool’s Gold,” and .supported by a Christie comedy, Topical Budget and other films. MAGICIAN DRIVER ON FRIDAY. In conjunction with “The Bondage of Barbara,” a splendid picture, on Friday, Professor T. W. Driver, who for many, years has diverted nearly every nationality under the sun by his wonderful feats of legerdemain, and whose reputation for manual dexterity, phenomenal mentality and allround subtlety and effectiveness of methods is international, will appear. He will present his famous entertainment, entitled A ‘A Night of Miracles.” The press are unanimous in proclaiming Prof. Driver’s present entertainment the best of its kind ever seen in the Dominion, and he has established himself as one of the most wonderworking “white magicians” on the stage. This Prof. Driver denies, ami declares that the whole performance is purely the result of trickery and sleight-of-hand. He is, in fact, an up-to-date prestidigitateur, who gives au entertainment worth a great deal of 'trouble to witness.
