A PICTURE-GOER’S COMPLAINT.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —1 wish to encroach on a few lines of your space to air a grievance which, 1 think, is a common one with all the people who attend the pictures in the Maoriland Theatre. Nearly every evening a crowd collects before the doors are opened, arid when the opening time arrives there is such a rush to get in that ladies, some of them carrying 'children, are forced out, and at-times cannot gd near tfie ticket office for some time, a. 5 a crowd of hoodlums (for we cannot call them young gentlemen) crush and squeeze forward like a picture scrum. I nave been in theatres in various parts ol the world, and must say that this one in Shannon is the first 1 have seen In which a queue Is not formed aud kept in control by the police.—l am, etc., FORM A QUEUE.
