At Flemington this morning Sprig ’o Myrtle, and Birinji, moved freely over five furlongs in Imin 6|sec. . At Caulfield Sterncbaser and Culloden were associated in a mile gallop, and finished in 3min 52aeo. Wild Rose was sent a fast six furlongs, and Omaha a smart five furlongs. The latest betting is as follows :—Newmarket Handicap—loo to 10 against Warpaint; 100 to 9 against Buccleugh and Prime Minister; 100 to 8 against Wild Rose ; 100 to C against Bungebah ; 100 to 5 against Sprig o’ Myrtle ; 100 to 4 against Ravenswing, Beverley, Ascot "Vale, Competency, Malolo, Lord Hope* toun, Berrigan, Hero, The Swell, and The Harbour Light. Australian Cup—--100 to 20 against St. Hippo ; 100 to 16 against Oamoola; 100 to 12 against The Admiral and Malvolio ; 100 to 10 against Warpaint, Glenlotfa, and Portsea; 100 to 8 against Sterncbaser and Red Leap.
