DUNEDIN TRAINING NOTES. (By Tslbgbaph.) DUNEDIN, Feb. 19. At the racecourse yesterday Wood started operations by sending Bpn away and North Atlantic a rasping six furlongs, in which the former had decidedly the better at the finish Tempest and Hippomenes wont a mile nearly at top speed, keeping together all tho way Rebel and Maribynong did two miles at rather bettor than half speed. It’amo and Freelance went two mdes nicely, the latter tiring towards the finish Awarua Bose negotiated two miles at half pace. Olanranald and Kulnine only cantered. Sootfree ran away from Rondinella in a mile, and was then taken for another round by Lochness. Lake Shell, Persuasion and Busybody jumped away together at tho six furlongs post, and tho former had tho best of the spin, but Persuasion was apparently pulled off. Qitano and Napier did five furlongs rather too fast for Glencairn, who started with them. Prime Warden did two miles at a sound pace throughout having Saracen with him on the second circuit. Changeling and Derby bad a spin on the plough Beadonwell and Strowan cantered and then went five furlongs pretty fast, the latter pulling over Mercer’s colt at the finish. Remembrance cantered two miles and Paratnu galloped one mile. Kate Greenaway and Lady Zetland did six furlongs in nice stylo, the former in front all the wriy.
