The Asylum Squabble.

(By Tblegeaph.) DUNEDIN, Feb. 10. Arthur James Watts, the attendant at tho Seacliff Lunatic Asylum, has been committed for trial for assaulting a patient named Duncan Gilchrist. Evidence in support of the charge was given by Dr King, medical superintendent, Thomas Sweeston, on attendant, the patient assaulted, and two other patients who were certified to be competent to give evidence, and who proved intelligent witnesses, one of them being complimented by the defending solicitor. Accused reserved his defence.
