BOWLING TOURNAMENT.

(Bx Telegbsph.) OHRISTOaUBOH, Fbb. 10. The bowling tournament closed to-day. The single championship wbb won by W. Oowie (Dunedio) 18, who beat A. Fraser (Dunedin) 9, who retired at the 18th head. The Otago representatives played off for the interprovincial match trophies—Dunedin, J. Hunter skip, 18, beat Eaituna, F. Sneddon skip, 9; Taieri, K. Bishop skip, 28, beat Boslyn, P. Dow skip, 18 In the final tie Dunedin reached til to Taieri’s 8 in the sixteenth head, and the latter retired. The visiting delegates were entertained at a smoke concert in the Oddfellows’ Hall to-night. There was a full attendance. The prizes were distributed and toasts honoured. Most of the southern members are returning by the express in the morning.
