The Horticultural Society’s Show was opened yesterday in the Public School. The bad weather interfered considerably with the attendance, but Redisplay was generally very good, and the building proved remarkably suitable. The prizetakers among the gardeners were Messrs j, Clear, J. Hansen, D. Hutton, and Von Gartner. The principal amateur prize takers were Mes-rs Stewart, St. George, Goldsmith, Abh'enaetli, Nind, Merry, Smith, Griffin, Noakes, and Johns.
