Damages Claimed in Divorce. In the divorce case McKay v. McKay

and Campbell, co-respondent, a verdict was given for the petitioner with £2OO damages. The petitioner claimed £IOOO. J'ndge Richmond said this was the first case in New Zealand where damages had been claimed in a divorce suit. A rule Nisi, returnable in five months, was granted for the dissolution of the marriage.
