Arabi and the leading rebel officers were to-day publicly degraded, and ten started on the journey to Ceylon, their place o£ exile. Dragoon Regiments at War. London, Dec. 26. A serious affray occurred last night at Canterbury, arising out of illfeeling existing between the men o£ the 2nd Dragobn Guards and the 6th Dragoons. Fully two hundred troops of these regiments took part in the disturbance, which lasted for some time. The fighting on both sides was severe, and many of the combatants suffered serious injuries.
