The trial of William Dunn, who some time ago set fire to Wright’s factory, was concluded at the Supreme Court to-day. The prisoner was found guilty of having caused the death of Mrs Wright, who perished in the flames, and was sentenced to deaths MailsAlbany, Nov. 8. Wool SalesDuring the week Messrs Goldsbrough and Co., have sold 8300 bales at their wool auction. The large attendance of Home and foreign buyers continues, and prices reign very firm. Greasy wools averaged from 8d to 14fd. Several large clips reached from 12d to 14d. Washed wools brought from 14d to 25d. [Received Nov. 8,1882,10.10 p.m ] Electric Light-A-company has been formed here to acquire from Sir Julius Vogel the sole right of using the Brush and the LanePox systems of electric lighting in Victoria. Sir Julius Vogel has'nearly completed the arrangements for illuminating Spencer street railway station by an arc light, and is also making preparations for the installation of incandescent lamps in the Elizabeth street station.
