THIS DAT. THE LIGURIA QUARANTINED—MORE SMALLPOX. . [Received Oct. 9,1882, 12.60 p.m,] MblboUenb, This day. The Orient steamship Liguria from London, via the Cape, has arrived, at the Heads, and has been placed in quarantine, owing to the prevalence of smallpox at Capetown. FATAL ACCIDENT. A boat capsized in the river Yarra yesterday, and two persons wbro drowned.
