PILLIET ON HIS TRAVELS.
The following letter in.reprinted from the Napier “Telegraph.” Its heading is “ Honor to Whom Honor is Due ” “ Sib, —I see by your paper thia evenipg, we are honored by a visitor in the person of W. H. Pilliet.Esq., the member for Stanmore. Had the people of Napier known in time of the honor about to he conferred upon them, by the member for Stanmore, in preferring their society even to that of his own constituency, who roust be hungering for his return, they would doubtless have organised a deputation to meet him on his arrival. The time for tbat.sir, is now, I fear, gone by. Might I, however, suggest thit we should show our esteem for this honest, straightforward Liberal by a grand bonfire on the hills. Who knows but our own true blue may have gone south to honor the electorate of Stanmore P Be it ours to set them the example of rendering “honor to whom honor is due,” and give their member the full fifth of November honors due to a — Guido Faux.
