Mr T. U. Gledhill, an old settier, formerly auctioneer, and was one of the first members returned to the House of Representatives after the passing of the Constitution Act, died last night at the age of 79.

Mclntosh’s Hotel at Black’s Point, was burnt down on Sunday. The loss is estimated at £I2OO. It was insured in the Colonial office for £SOO.
