Malting barley is firm at 5a 2d to 5s 4d. Wheat is steadier, and is quoted at
6s lid for shipping. New Zealand oats j are firm at 4s to 4s 2d for feeding, and ; 4s 61 to 4s 61 for milliner qualities. ■ [Received -Sept. 28, 1882, 1.5 a.m.] The small-pox patient «t Hamilton , has been examined by three other 1 medical men, who are unanimous in declaring the case to be one of true variola- Dr Youll, Inspector of the Health Board, who examined the patient yesterday and reported the disease to be only, chickenpock, persists in the correctness of his diagnosis, and ridicules smallpox.
