The cricket match at Canterbury between the Austi aliens and an eleven of Kent was resumed to-day, when the Australians continued their second innings. The weather was fine, but the attendance of spectators was small. Massie and Bannerman, who wore not out at the close of the previous day’s play, continued their innings. 19. Murdoch followed and carried his bat after scoring 14. McDonnell was caught for 2, Horan being not out for 2. The required number of runs, 81, having been obtained, play wns stopped, the Australians thus winning the match by 7 wickets.
