What appear to be* portions , ;o£ a recent wreck, have just been picked up on the beach, at the Bluff. They comprise the lower topsail yard of a large ship and the face of a figure head; the face ia that of a woman, with flowing hair above the forehead; there being a large star gilded where the face was broken, the wood seemed fresh, as though not serrated from. the other part of the figure more than three or four months. It is asserted that the wreckage does not belong to any vessel that has been ashore at or near the Bluff ,* and it is possibly a portion of a missing vessel, the Miny-y-Don, Loch Maree, or some others. ;
