THE OAMARU MURDER CASE.

[By Telegram.] Oamabu, July 20. The hearing of the charge of murder •gainst Alexander Beattie, was continued to-day. The only fresh evidence was, that on 16th June "the prisoner had given an adze to a man named Willetts, who said he saw something like blood on the back of it, and handed it to the police. The case will probably last till Saturday.
