AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS AT HOME. [By Cable.] London, July 7. The cricket match Australians v. Middlesex was resumed to-day at Lords ground. The weather was again showery during the day, and the attendance was consequently only moderate. The Australians, with three wickets down for 60 runs went in for their first innings, Horan and Murdoch resuming their places at the wickets. Both men batted splendidly and remained together for some time. Murdoch was at length caught for 51, having played very steadily. Horan carried out his bat for 38. The following is the full score of the Australians in their first innings.
