THE TIMARU HARBOR DISTRICT.
All that area in the Provincial Dis" trict of Canterbury, hounded towards •the north-east from the summit of the Southern Alps by the summit of Two Thumbs Range, thence by a right lino to the source of Forest Creek, thence by the centre of that creek to the Rangitata River, thence by the centre of • that river to the sea ; towards the east by the sea to the mouth of the Waitaki River ; towards the south and south-west by the centre of that river, and of the Ohau River to Ohau Lake, thence by that lake and the centre of theßivorliopkins to its source, thence by a right line to the nearest point on the summit of the Southern Alps; and towards tho north-west by a line 'along the said summit to the starting point, near Mount Tyndall; excluding from the before described area the Borough of Waimate, as proclaimed i f the “ New Zealand Gazette ’’ No 95, on 1879, page 1244; as tho' same is delineated on tho plans in the Serve, Office, Christchurch.
