The present stocks comprise 200,000 packages. ShippingArrived, this morning—Union Company’s steamship Albion, from the Bluff. The Union Company’s s.s. will leave for Dunedin to-morrow. x Narrow EscapeThe ship Mosley Hall, 1772 tons*, which has just arrived from had a narrow escape from destruction by fire during the passage. A quantity of acids forming a part of her cargo, spontaneously ignited, but the fire was; extinguished without much damage being done. Grain. Sydney, Juno 2. New Zealand wheat has advanced to 6s 9d per bushel, and New Zealand oats to 4s. Maize has also risen, and now quoted at 5s Bd, an advance of 6d. as compared with last week’s price. Successful FloatingBbisbane, June 2. The steamer Eanelagb, which went ashore at King’s Eeef, neao* Cardwell, on the 12th all., was successfully floated off to-day, but owing to the pumps fouling it was found necessary to beach her at Barand Island.
