TIMAEU—THIS DAY. (Before Wakefield, and P. Archer, Esqrs.) HABITUAL DRUNKENNESS. James Boys, charged with drunkenness in a public place at Timaru, was fined 10s. A second charge against the same, for resisting the police while in the execution of their duly, was dismissed. Another charge was made against the same for wasting his estate by excessive drinking (under 167 of the “ Licensing Act 1881.”) All publicans in the Timaru and Levels District arc to bo prohibited from supplying him with liquor for twelve calendar mouths.
