AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS AT HOME. [By Cable.] London, May 30. The cricket match, Australians v. Cambridge University, was to-day resumed at Cambridge. The weather was fine, and the attendance during the day was enormous, the greatest interest being taken in the match. The Cambridge eleven continued their first innings, which closed for a total of 266, C. T. Stud being the highest scorer, with 118. Palmer bowled splendidly for the Australians, taking six wickets for 85 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had put together 212 for the loss of only six wickets. The following are the principal scores : —Bunnerman, caught, 24; Massie, caught, 20 ; Horan, bowled, 51 ; Griffon, not out, 55 ; Palmer, not out, 26.
