CRICKET.
AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS AT HOME. [By Cable.] ' London, May 29. A match was commenced to day at Cambridge, between the Australian Eleven and an eleven of the Cambridge University. The weather was very warm. A capital wicket was pitched, and the grdund was in good order. There was a very large attendance, and the greatest interest was taken in the match. The Australians tvent in first, and were all disposed of for 139, Massie and Bannerman being the highest scoreis witli 37 and 50 respectively. The bowling of Cambridge was dead on the wicket, and their fielding was excellent. The University Eleven then wont in for their first innings, and when stumps were drawn for the day had scored 187 for the loss of only 4 wickets. Mr G. B. Studd scored 42, find Mr C. T. Studd is not out for 85. The Australians met with a cordial reception on going into the field. They will be entertained at dinner to morrow by Dr Porter, ViceChancellor of the University.
