To-day the Committee of Judging and Awards revised the Jury reports on Sections 8, 14, and 19, and if no protests are entered before Saturday next, they will be .confirmed in their present Jjorm. In some cases an asterisk has been prefixed to the names of exhibitors, to indicate that the Committee, acting upon the recommendation of the Jury, have decided that they may have “ certificates or gold medals,” as a mark of special excellence, though as no gold medals arc given, the distinction is purely honorary.
