PARISH OF OTAIO.
The annual meeting of the pariehoners of this district was held on Thursday evening, in the Lower Otaio schoolroom, the Rev. L. 0. Brady (incumbent) in the chair.
Mr Brady presented a full report of the ministerial and pastoral work he had been enabled to do during the year, and of|tho improvements which had been made in the land and buildings through the generosity of the residents. Wardens were chosen, and a vestry elected, and several , votes of thanks were passed. The following resolutions were then passed : That the Lower Otaio be the place appointed for Vestry meetings, and that the last Monday in each quarter be the dale of meeting for the future.
“ That the present meeting take this occasion of expressing their satisfaction and thanks to the Incumbent, Mr Brady, for his untiring zeal in his efforts for the promotion of church interests in this parish, and that a copy of this motion be forwarded to him.”
The Parish Festival, which was to have been held last month, was postponed to December 27, consequent on the lateness of the season.
