TIMARU—THIS DAY. (Before His Honor Judge Ward.) CIVIL CASES, White and Jameson v. Standard Fire and Marine Insurance Co. —Claim £IOO, moneys assigned by defendants. Mr Perry for plaintiffs ; Mr Stout for defendants. The case was adjourned by consent to May 3. 0. Bourn and others v. Henry Green —Claim £2OO damages and goods sold. Mr Jameson for plaintiffs; Mr Hamersley for defendant. This case was adjourned to the next ordinary sitting of the Court. G. C. Fraser and wife v. James Poff —Claim £66, rent. Mr Hamersley for plaintiffs; Mr White for defendant. Some discussion took place as to an alleged irregularity in the serving of the summonses and the sending in of the pleas, and as to a set-off, and the case was adjourned to May 16, the question of allowing this day’s expenses to plaintiffs, to stand over till then. IN BANKRUPTCY. Orders of discharge wore granted in the following cases : Jacob Heinrich Winkler, Kenneth Cameron, Thomas Grierson Cork, John Shaw, James Stevenson. The following were ordered to stand over, in consequence of certain irregularities in connection with the “ Gazette’’ notices James Curran, Henry G. Smith. In re Alicia Maria Bayliss Landsborough, Mr Hamersley on behalf of the debtor, applied for an order declaring a deed of arrangement completely oxecuted. The order was granted. Iti re James Stewart. This case was ordered to further stand over till next Court day. The Court then adjourned till May 3.
