TEMUKA SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of this Committee was held last night. Present Messrs Mackay (Chairman), Mendelson, Hayhurst, Bussell, and Brown. Correspondence was read, from the Board of Education re Miss' Bussell’s appointment as Papil Teacher, the election of two representatives on the Board, also a letter in connection with. Mr Mclntosh’s accident.
The report for the past year having been read and duly agreed to, it was proposed by Mr Mendelson, seconded by Mr Brown and carried—“ That the report. and balance sheet as read, he' adopted.” •, ; : Proposed by Mr Mendelson, seconded by Mr Bussell and carried—“ That Mr Eerr be appointed to audit the accounts.” •• . zi-’-- * .. Proposed by Mr Brown, seconded by Mr Mendelson, and carried—“ That the Secretary write to Mr Way month, thanking him for his services, while acting as to the Committee.” Proposed by Mr Mendelson, seconded by Mr Brown and unanimously—“ That the best thanks of the Committee be accorded to Mr /Mackay for the able manner in which he has conducted the chair daring the twelye months the Committee have held office.
