Mr Moss Jonas reports holding an important sale of wool at his sale rooms yesterday. There waa a large attendance of buyers, and the various lots solds were fairly comoeted for. 210 bales, 60 bags of wool, 600 skins, and 20 bags of fat were catalogued,and all disposed of(with the exception of a few lots) at the following satisfactory prices:— A, greasy half-bred, 23 bales at B£d ; T, three-quarter-bred, 20, at Bfd ; HO, halfbred hoggets, 3, at 9d ; MO, merino, 2, at 9d : JK, oross-breds, 9, a* 9d ; JK, merino ewes, 9. at 9d ; JK, half-bred hoggets, 20, at 9d ; W, merino and half-bred, 1, at BJd ; W, half bred hoggets, 6 at BJd ; H over 8 cross-bred hoggets, 15, at BJd ; HH, half bred ewes,. 2, at 9jd ; M, Merino ewes, 1, at 9d ; P, half-bred hoggets 2, at B|d ; Jo, half bred hoggets, 11, atßJd ;ES, 1 bale crossbred pieces, at 6d: ARS, 1 bale merino pieces, at 8d j about 30 bales of wool at an average of 7d per lb ; locks and pieces in bags at an average of 5d per lb, with keen competition. Six hundred skins were disposed of, th« following ■ prices . being realised :—Orossbreds, from 3s sd, 3s fid, 6s, 6s 6d ; 8a 9d, 6s, to 6s 3d ; merinos, 3s sd, 4a 3d, 6s to 8s 6d ; lambs, 9d ; lid ; to Is fid ; pelts, 7d, Bd, to lOd ; fat; 3d to 2Jd.
