Elizabeth Graham, barque, from London early. A strong nor’-wester sprung up this morning, and the barque Ganymede, lying broadside on to it, began to drag towards the wharf. The Harbormaster was soon to tho fore, and the vessel was let down to the wharf altogether and well fended. There was not much motion in the water, so that she lay pretty quietly there. The Young Dick, lying eff a little, let go her stern moorings and rode easily head on to the gale. The s,B. Murray went ashore on the south spit of the Hokitika river yesterday, and is now high and dry.
