[By Telegraph.]. THIS DAY. Hamilton, Dec. 3. Sir George Grey addressed a crowded meeting here last night, and received a vote of confidence. TO-DAY’S NOMINATIONS. South Wellington. P. Coffey, W. B. Edwards, W. Hutchison, and C. Hendry. C. J. Foxward was proposed, but not seconded. ‘ Roslyn. J. Bathgate, Captain Scott, E. Hodgkinson, and D. Millar, Peninsula. J. Seaton, W, H. Cutten, M. Donnelly, and J; Lewis. Oaveesham. Mr Barron re-elected without opposition. Waipawa J. D. Ormond and W. C. Smith. Hawke's Bay. Messrs Russell and Sutton. Lawrence. J. O. Brown and G. F. C. Browne. North Wairarapa. Messr Rennal and Beetham. Ashburton. Mr E. G. Wright was returned unopposed.
