(Per Press Association.) The Trial of HirokiNew Plymouth, Nov. 30, Hiroki was brought up this morning charged with stealing a double barrelled gun and other articles the property of W. Taylor, of Waitotara. After the evidence of Mr Taylor and a Native witness was taken, the prisoner was committed for trial. The Government does its duty at LastInformations have been laid and summons taken out against the two men who were dismissed from the Taranaki Mounted Rides Corps, lor appropriating articles, when searching the whares north of Waitara, for arms.
