A storm of unusual violence has been experienced over a great part of England during the past forty hours, causing immense destruction of property and numerous wrecks on tho coast. Lefroy alias Mapleton, who was recently found guilty of the murder of Mr Gold on the Brighton Railway, has admitted that he committed the crime, and has also confessed to the murder of Lieut. Roper,at Chatham, whoso death occured so mysteriously some time back. Ho was hanged to-day. A Wreck. Telegrams have been received from Hong Kong reporting tho wreck of the

iron ship Bolton Abbey, 1150 tons, of Liverpool, while on her voyage from Newcastle to Manilla. The captain and all the crew, except throe, were saved and have reached Hong Kong.
