Mr Seddon, who has made his mark as a stonewaller, has addressed large meetingsjat Dillmanstown and Eumara, ana votes of thanks and confidence were passed unanimously at both places. [By Telegraph.] Marton, Nov. 2. Sir William Fox addressed a crowded meeting last evening, and received an unanimous vote of confidence and thanks. Dunedin, Nov. 3. Mr Fish received a vote of confidence in the South Ward last night. He declared he would support the Government generally, but censured them for not earlier acting on Mr Bryce’s advice. He was an uncompromising free-trader; a secularist in education; will vigorously oppose the introduction of the Bible into schools; and also local optipn, unless accompanied by a compensation clause.
