(Pee Pbess Association.) Accident* Auckland, Oct. 19. A little girl fell over the embankment in Graham street, and is supposed to be fatally injured. Garrard’s Friends* Garrard has been committed for trial for causing bogus names to be placed on the electoral roll. An Old Story. The Wade perjury case has been further adjourned for a week. Natives Troublesome. W ELLINGTON, Oct. 19. A telegram to the Government states that some natives are interfering with settlers in the neighborhood of Capo Egmont Lighthouse. Fences were pulled down and the settlers ordered off the land. Government are making enquiries into the matter. Supreme Court. Christchurch, Oct. 19. At the Supreme Court to-day, James White, Frank Carey, and Jane Brown alias Janet Miller, for robbery with violence at Rakaia, were sentenced respectively to six years, eight yeare,and 18 months penal servitude.
