LATE SHIPPING.

Sept. 29—Lillie Denham, steam launch, 26 tons, from Sydney.

The long-looked for Lillie Denham, Messrs Bradley Bros, Simpson and Leask’s steam launch, arrived in Timaru to-day from Sydney, after a long and tedious passage. The arrival caused no little commotion, and a great number of persons found their way to the wharf to have a look at the little boat whose adventures and long passage have been so often the subject of conversation. She has a neat little hull, but a large bridge gives her a rather top-heavy look. The fact of three steamers arriving in one day, and one of them being locally owned, is something to be noted, even though none of them are Great Easterns.
