Gold, Dust put and agpin took till afer tpassing the Stand,/when;Ta,Bman agaihjwent to the front and tfience kept the lead to the finish, winning easily from Gold Dust by two lengths; ; Bijou an indifferent third; • Parlor Maid and Prophet oat of it. There was no betting. , Handicap Hurdle Eace of 16 sovs. about 2 miles, over eight flights of hurdles. Mr P. Butler’s Agent,. 12st 41b (O’Connor) 1 Mr Lyford’s Bijou, 9st 71b (Derrit) 2 Mr M. Hobbs’ Swindler, lOst r >"■, (Owner) 3 Mr De Eenzy’s Hunpingtpn, 9st 121 b, also started.

Hunnington led at the start, and was first over the first hurdle, closely followed by Agent, Bijou, and Swindler in tho order named. Hunnington had a lead and looked all over a winner, but ho ran round the third hurdle and lost his chance. Agent then took the lead and kept it to the finish, winning from Bijou by six lengths. Betting—4 to 1 bar one.
