ELECTORAL BOUNDARIES.

The following arc the boundaries of the electoral districts of South Canterbury in the Representation Bill : GERALDINE. Bounded towards the north-west by the Mount Peel Road district to Orari River ; thence by the road from Tripp’s cutting to the traflio bridge over the Rungitala river ; towards the north-east by the Rangitata river, towards the south-east by the sea to the Opibi River ; towards the south west and west by that river to the eastern boundary of runs 240 and 255. TIJIAEIT. Bounded towards the west by the road commencing at the Wasdyke creek between sections 1804 and 3131, running south-west to the south east corner of section 2001; thence westerly to the northwest corner of 3970 ; thence south easterly to the southern boundary of the Municipality of Timaru ; thence by the the southern boundary of that Municipality to the sea, and towards the east by the sea and by the Was bdyke creek to the starting point, GLADSTONE. Bounded towards the north east by the Ashburton electoral district; towards the soutb. east and north east by the Geraldine electoral district to the sea ; towards the south east by the sea, by Timaru electoral district and again by the sea; towards the south west by the Pareora river to its source at Mount Nimrod ; thence by right lines along the summit of Hunter’s Hill to the'northern boundary of run 163 ; thence by a right lino due west to the Hakateramea river ; thence by a right line to the Haketeramea post ; thence by a right line to the Waitangi river at the northern corner of run 201 ; again towards the south-west and towards the sea by that river, the Ohau river, Lake Glum, and tiie Raver Hopkins to the Southern Alps ; towards the north-west by that range to Ashburton electoral district. . WAIMATE. Bounded towards the north and northeast by the Gladstone electoral district ; towards the east by the sea. and towards the west by the Waitangi river.
