A private telegram from London reports that a collission has occurred between the hargue Clodian, bound from Melbourne' (left April 6th) to Liverpool with wheat, and the barque Yarmouth. The former vessel sunk, and has become a total loss. Sydney, August 16. JNo fresh cases of smallpox have been reported to-day. All the patients at the quarantine station are doing well. Beisbane, Aug. 16. The Eight Eev. Dr Quinn, Eoman Catholic Bishapof Brisbane, is seriously ill, and is not expected to recover.
